The Learn To Read Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

We are funded through the United Way, the Combined Federal Campaign, Government and Corporate grants and your donations.

If you would like to consider making a donation, we have a Zelle account with instructions on how to donate or you can send a check or money order through the mail to our physical location at 410 S. Jefferson St., Athens, AL 35611.

Another way to support to our organization is through Amazon Smile. Simply go to, go to Your Account, and select Learn To Read Council of Athens and Limestone County as the charity you wish to support. A portion of each eligible order you place will be sent to us.
